Description
Fautaua waterfall is the biggest easy accessible waterfall in the country, it has scenic view. The hike along the river deep in the valley is gorgeous and way up/ down the hill is interesting.
Spectacular lush hills will be visible from both side of the valley. We will learn about local plants and animals as well as about interesting history of the valley, which connected with fighting of Polynesian people for independence.
They way up will pass through several little springs and will lead to spectacular view of the waterfall. Then the road continues going up to historical Fachoda fort and down to the top of the waterfall.
Beautiful natural pool with crystal clear water and little waterfall will invite to have a nice swim there.
The hike down is easy and pleasurable!
